Unknown snow area with no admission ticket recommended

2021-01-12 11:55:27

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- In addition to the famous Wulong Fairy Mountain and Nanchuan Jinfo Mountain, do you know about this suburban snow area which is 2 hours’ drive from the downtown?

It is Nantianmen in Wansheng, which many Chongqing people know as a summer holiday resort, but overlook the fact that it can be enjoyed in snow.

In summer, Nantianmen is a dreamy and enchanting place where people can sleep with the windmill, while in winter it is a fairytale world in silver.

When you take a leisurely stroll through it, you can see the windmill up close and the winter mountain scenery from afar, like a lightly colored rice paper painting. The sky and the clouds and the mountains are all white. The clear and secluded atmosphere of Nantianmen is as beautiful as it can be at this moment.

Currently, the grass at Nantianmen is covered with dense, crystal-clear frost flowers, and the rock walls are so full of icicles that, at a glance from a distance, one would think they were plum blossoms in March.

Does a cottage in the snow, oozing romance, remind you of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales? The fog gathers and disperses with the wind, and the large windmill appears and disappears accordingly. When it first clears after the snow, it’s a different story.
