Constructing monitoring station in Liangping Shuanggui Lake National Wetland Park
CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, at the construction site of biodiversity monitoring station on the West Bank of Shuanggui Lake National Wetland Park, reporter saw that workers were rushing to build the roof in the cold wind. It is understood that the monitoring station is expected to be completed by the end of this month and will be open for free by then, adding a good place for people to watch birds.

It is reported that the West Bank Biodiversity Monitoring Station of Shuanggui Lake National Wetland Park serves as a place for rest and recreation, observation of plant ecology and bird activities. It covers an area of 120 square meters. Two wooden houses will be built with floor-to-ceiling glass curtain walls and equipped with mono-telescopes, facilities like bird rescue equipment and convenient facilities such as seats. The construction of the monitoring station started at the end of November 2020. Currently, the main structure is being constructed. The next step is to install hydro-power facilities.
