CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- “I want a ‘Fu (福)’”. “I want spring festival couplets about safety”. Recently, the teachers and students of the College of Fine Arts of Southwest University held an activity themed on “Send Blessings via Spring Festival Couplets” at the university.

On the scene, there were many professors and graduates of the College of Fine Arts of Southwest University creating couplets on red paper. It is understood that on that day there were 20 teachers and students participating in the creation of a total of more than 1,000 couplets. Many students who received Spring Festival couplets expressed their joy and said that “It is not only an artwork, but also a blessing for the New Year.”

Chen Hang, Vice Chairman of Chongqing Artists Association, believed that this kind of activities taking Spring Festival couplets as a carrier could not only inherit traditional culture, but also bring art into ordinary people’s home. Teachers and students could not only carry out professional exchanges through this kind of activities, but also display traditional culture in an all-round way. “It is also a sincere blessing.
