Special beauty of Mountain City in rail transit stations

2021-02-01 14:54:26

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- In this city, we may start a day at work or study by rail transit. The trains that travel up and down the city’s buildings have become a unique sight, and these rail transit stations have become “internet-famous attractions”. Apart from CRT Liziba Station, which has been super hot for its “train passing through the building”, what other unique rail transit stations are there in Mountain City? Enjoy these stations with the camera.

[Fairytale] – Expo Center Station on Rail Transit Expo Branch Line of Line 6 has been described by netizens as a “Mushroom Jungle” station, as the station lobby pillars were accidentally made popular not long ago because they were decorated in a style that resembled “mushrooms” and made it into the Weibo hot trend.

The design of “Mushroom Jungle” does not stop at the station lobby, as you can find the “roots” of the “mushrooms” growing downstairs as you walk down the escalator to the passenger floor, just like you were in a fairytale forest.

[Liveliness] – When you enter Lieshimu Station on Rail Transit Line 1, you are greeted by the largest graffiti inside a station in China. The warm and spirited colors decorate the walls and stairs in a gloriously colorful way, making you feel the power of life.

The tall dome in the lobby of Lieshimu Station presents a blue sky with white clouds and soaring eagles in simple graffiti, overlaid with colorful woodcarving paintings and traditional shadow puppet technique, and incorporating traditional delineation technique to showcase the desire for a harmonious and happy life.

[Gracefulness] – Fotuguan Station on Rail Transit Line 2 stands next to the internet-famous Liziba Station. Unlike the bustling Liziba Station, Fotuguan Station is like an elegant lady standing quietly outside the hustle and bustle. As one of the first rail transit stations to open in Chongqing, it is full of traditional Chinese architectural elements.

When you stand on the escalator at Fotuguan Station, the round wall lamps, the fret design of the window frames, railings, and the carved stone walls all emphasize the ancient Chinese style.

At this Station, visitors can not only ascend the observation tower to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Jialing River and Jiangbei District, but also ring the bell at the tower for blessings and experience the unique charm of the integration of rail transit and nature.

[Elegance] – Exit B of Daxigou Station on Rail Transit Line 2 is known by many netizens as the “Most Beautiful Exit”. As the lights are on, the view from the platform is beautifully serene with the river at night, where the tiredness of the day is soothed.

[Combination] – The rugged staircase and the tall, hovering Sujiaba Overpass are just outside Tongyuanju Station on Rail Transit Line 3. The combination of the rail transit, the thousand-storey staircase and the overpass, together with the panoramic reflective glass folding staircase reflecting the crisscrossing suspended staircases into the mirror, presenting a unique landscape of a “Y” viaduct, has also become the location for film and television productions such as Chongqing Hotpot, I Belonged to You and Better Days.

[Three dimension] – From Exit 2 of Tangjiayuanzi Station on Rail Transit Line 3, you can “climb the hill” to the top and go straight to Huangnibang. For those who don’t want to climb the hill, there are two escalators for the convenience of the public.

You can see the popular photo spot by climbing to the top of the escalator at Tangjiayuanzi Station. Here, monorail trains make a “sharp turn” with elevated highways, underpasses and pedestrian overpasses to form the epitome of modern three-dimensional transport in Chongqing.
