Give warmth to children left behind

2021-02-11 16:41:48

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On February 3, more than 10 left-behind children from Beibei Protection Center for Minors played games under the leadership of volunteers. Beibei District learned after investigation that about a third of the 49 children left behind in rural areas had parents who responded to the call to stay put at their workplace for the Chinese New Year. The local civil affairs authority has allowed 18 street and town children’s supervisors and 188 village children’s directors to strengthen their visits to households, to identify problems and solve demands in a targeted manner, to enrich the children’s winter holiday life and to make the workers remaining on their jobs and children left behind feel warm.
