CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- What are you going to do during your winter holidays? Recently, Chongqing University’s Colorful Animation City Volunteer Team launched the Winter Doll Project, collecting dolls from university students across the country, which were then delivered by local volunteers to the homes of students in special education schools, with a view to turning the dolls into companionship and warmth during a period when epidemic prevention and control is normalized, and delivering care from society to special groups.
At present, a total of 213 students from 13 universities across China have participated in the Project and Shaoyang Special Education School in Hunan Province has received nearly 100 dolls as well as handwritten greeting cards. These gifts will be given by the volunteers to over 50 special families in the area. More than 10 families have already been visited and will be given at the start of the spring term.
