CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- What else is new in Chongqing? More than 60,000 oriental cherry trees in Shimen Town, Jiangjin, Chongqing are in full bloom from February 13 to April 15, adding the festive atmosphere of the Spring Festival.

What’s a “Beautiful Oriental Cherry Sea”? Characterized by the precious peony cherry blossom whose flowering phase is from early February to early March, and red when it is in full bloom. In addition to cherry blossoms, there are more than 20 kinds of flowers such as space lotus and Galsang flower, creating a scene of flowers blooming all the year round.

The Park combines cherry blossom scenery with entertainment to meet the different play needs of the elderly, young people and children. It has been decorated with Chinese New Year lanterns, bubble chairs, wisteria corridors and oiled paper umbrellas for citizens to take photos and appreciate.
