CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- During the Spring Festival holiday, in addition to family reunion, and relax vacation outside, many citizens choose to read and learn more knowledge. A reporter learned from Chongqing Library that during the holiday, more than 12,000 persons visited the Library, borrowed 18,000 books of various kinds, and provided online services to more than 62,000 persons.

According to a staff member of Chongqing Library, during the Spring Festival holiday, all seats of study room were occupied, and there were many citizens came to the borrowing counter every day.

The staff said that “during the Spring Festival this year, many citizens came to the library to study, some of them are families. The study room is almost full of persons at about 10 o’clock every morning.”

The relevant person in charge of Chongqing Library held that the reasons why many citizens chose to spend time at Chongqing Library were that it was a good time for they to learn, and they were attracted by the good reading atmosphere creased by Chongqing Library for years.
