Data from the climate monitoring and analysis platform of the Chongqing Climate Center shows that since February, Chongqing has embraced more days of warm sunshine, from February 1 to 19. The average sunshine hours are 58.8 hours, and the total sunshine hours in the central area of Shapingba district are 48.6 hours, both of which set the maximum number of sunshine hours for the same period since 1980. Because of the sunny and warm weather in February, spring also came a little earlier than before this year, with Chongqing districts and counties entering spring 3-29 days earlier than usual.
