CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Beautiful spring starts in Tongnan. Recently, a press conference on 2021 Tongnan Chen Tuan Hometown Rapeseed Flower Festival and Tourism Product Promotion was held in Chongqing.

At the Promotion, Tongnan District brought special food products from Tongnan such as small pressed rapeseed oil and HDLemon, and introduced festivals and events of Tongnan throughout the year.

Chen Tuan Hometown Rapeseed Flower Festival has been successfully held for 13 years. It is one of the few rapeseed flower scenic spots in the country that can be viewed in three dimensions, and the best viewing period lasts up to a month. The 14th Chen Tuan Hometown Rapeseed Flower Festival will be officially opened on February 26 this year. The Festival will launch with boats, trains and helicopter sightseeing projects, in addition to paragliding to create a “water, land and air” amusement project, allowing visitors to enjoy the Rapeseed flowers in all aspects.

The colored Rapeseed flowers are still the highlight of the Festival and the planting area has been extended to 500mu; the 236-meter diameter “Bagua” in the core scenic area is a combination of wheat and colored Rapeseed flower instead, which will bring visitors a strong visual impact. A new pink peach forest has been built along the train at the scenic area this year, mirroring the colorful Rapeseed flowers on both sides of the track. In addition, a 10,000 square meter colorful flower maze and a 200 meter long extreme roller skating have been added to the scenic area this year, which will further enrich the experience of visitors.

The COVID-19 epidemic has not yet passed this year, so Tongnan Health and Wellness Committee has taken a variety of epidemic prevention measures to protect the lives and health of visitors and maintain the normal operation of the scenic area. Cheng Qiuyan, Director of Tongnan Health and Wellness Committee, said, “it is our duty to protect the health of our visitors, so please do not worry about your visit.”
