CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- From next week, Chongqing Three Gorges water route will usher in its first voyage this year. On March 12, the Century Cruise will make its maiden voyage in early spring.

On March 12, the “Century Emperor” will sail the Chongqing － Yichang Three Gorges cruise route, which will last for four days and three nights. You can visit Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge, as well as Baidi City and the Three Gorges Dam.

Except of the traditional routes above, the cruise company also launched new voyage route.

According to Li Qing, Vice General Manager of Chongqing Guanda Century Cruises Co., Ltd, this year, the Century Cruise will implement the centralized operation of multi-route along the Yangtze River, launch three new routes, increase the number of departure ports, with Chongqing, Yichang, Wuhan, Nanjing, Shanghai as the main departure ports. It will also expand the range of route radiation, covering the provinces and cities along the route, so that tourists can choose the nearest place to board the ship.

The new route of “To meet Three Gorge in Chongqing” between Chongqing and Wanzhou covers scenic areas such as Longgang, Yunyang, Baidi City, Fengdu Ghost City, Shennv Creek, Wuxia Gorge and Qutang Gorge. It will be launched by “Century Gem” on March 24.

The new “Chongqing － Wuhan River River － Lake” route will pass through two locks, namely, Three Gorges Dam and Gezhouba, and collect the essence of Chongqing － Yichang and Chongqing － Wanzhou routes. It was launched by “Century Gem” on April 21, with one round trip planned for each month thereafter.

The Chongqing-Shanghai new route for a 15-day tour of the Yangtze River will link up many 5A-level scenic areas along the route, such as Longgang, Yunyang, Yueyang Tower, Yellow Crane Tower, Lushan Mountain, and Yangzhou Slender West Lake. The first voyage will be on June 12. In terms of price, taking June 12 as an example, the price of a Chongqing-Shanghai luxury standard room is 18,800 yuan / person.

According to Li Qing, they are constantly enriching tourism routes, creating water tourism products that combine the length of the journey and will be suitable for all ages and different prices. “People are enthusiastic about the new routes, and the sales of the three newly opened routes have reached more than half.”
