CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The reporter recently learned from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport that in 2020, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport completed a total of 34,938,000 passengers, 411,000 tons of cargo and mail throughput, as well as 275,000 aircraft landings and takeoffs. According to the statistics, during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays in 2020, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport guaranteed 7,631 inbound and outbound flights safely, with an average of 954 inbound and outbound flights per day, up 7.89% from last year, and completed passenger throughput of 1,081,500 passengers, with an average of 135,300 passengers per day, an increase of 4.25% compared with the same period last year.

While preventing and controlling the epidemic, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport actively coordinates with various airlines to resume flights, increase the number of flights from Chongqing to Beijing, Sanya and Haikou, and arrange charter flights for the resumption of work and production for enterprises, transporting more than 1,000 passengers from Chongqing to Belgrade, Dubrovnik, Seoul, Guangzhou, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Taizhou and other international and domestic resumption of work, effectively alleviating the problem of people returning to work due to the epidemic.
