Dongxi Ancient Town, with its long history, is built on the rocks and by the water. The streets of the Ancient Town are built on the ground, with a chic layout that highlights the appearance of the ancient town. Among these old buildings are Wantian Palace, Nanhua Palace, Postal Office of Maxiang Town and recently restored Qi’an Salt Transport Museum, all dating from the Qing Dynasty.
