The Organizing Committee of the 6th Chongqing Games said that Bridge is a highly competitive intellectual game in which players need to give full play to their wits and skills. It is also an elegant and rewarding form of sport and entertainment, as it can be a source of inspiration and refinement of judgment. There are three competition events: Open Team, Open Pairs and Mixed Pairs. The open team competition is divided into two stages: the first stage, using the points arrangement system or single round robin system; the second stage, the top four of the first stage to enter the semi-finals and finals.
