It is learned that according to the Notice on the Change of Non-enterprise Club Names in Professional Leagues at All Levels released by Chinese Football Association on December 14, 2020, in accordance with the relevant requirements of change, after careful screening, discussion and research, Chongqing Dangdai Lifan Football Club submitted the neutral adjustment scheme to Chinese Football Association, and then changed its name after the scheme is reviewed by related departments.

Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic Football Club said that it changed its name, but remained the mind of “Fighting for Chongqing”, and the title has changed, but the courage to “Work Hard for a New Future” has not diminished. As the only football club in the western China to compete in the Chinese Super League, the Club will continue maintaining the Bayu spirit, gather the strength of the mountain city, and stick to the spirit of Chongqing.
