In the 1950s, after Chengdu-Chongqing Railway was opened to traffic, and the Railway Department built a large living area for employees in this area. The Tielu Fourth Village was the living area for railway employees at that time. In this way, two or even three generations of some citizens living here were railway workers.

As time flies, the current building here is to be demolished.

The factory buildings to be demolished are made of black brick and tiles, and the old burglary nets on the exterior walls have been refurbished, but maybe they have been neglected since they were left unused, it showed the rusted appearance.

Abandoned railway tracks

The abandoned railway tracks here are the place where every tourist must go, among which the Triangular Road is especially popular.

Triangle Road, was a place where the train turned around. A train only had one locomotive, had to take off the car upon arriving at the destination, and got back to the rear of train along another road to mount again; later, a train had two locomotives, but it had no need to turn around, so this place lost its function.

The unused tracks were abandoned; and by the time of the spring equinox, the tracks have become overgrown with grass, and some sections of the tracks even have bushes growing along them.

Not far away, there are tracks that are still in use, so you can still see trains going by. There is something different when you walk on the abandoned tracks and see a train going by.
