CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- “I can’t believe I see a Fuxing bullet train parked in my school!” Recently, a college student in Chongqing released a picture of the locomotive of a Fuxing bullet train, and said it was a new train for the school. In the picture, this Fuxing bullet train not only looks exactly like the actual locomotive, but also has all the internal facilities. What exactly is this?

According to Chongqing Polytechnic Institute, these pictures were taken at the campus. Not long ago this institute created a training railway and station, and now it has created the Simulator of Fuxing bullet train.

The Simulator is identical to a real high-speed train locomotive and is 21 meters long and 3.1 meters wide. Inside the Simulator, the cab is bright and spacious, with an analogue dashboard showing operational details. At the same time, the interior of the coach has been authentically created, including business seats, a dining bar, toilets, large luggage racks and other facilities. In addition to this, the Simulator has a mobile screen displaying speed, temperature and other information, as well as a monitoring room, etc., which most realistically recreates a real high-speed train carriage.

The Simulator of Fuxing bullet train is a key demonstration project for Chongqing Polytechnic Institute to promote the integration of industry and education and school-enterprise cooperation, and was jointly invested by the school and Chongqing Branch of Hangtie (China) Holding Company. The Simulator of Fuxing bullet train will be used for practical training in urban rail transit operation and management, and will be used for students to study passenger service and crew training courses so as to train higher professionals for the industry.
