This year, the newly grafted splendid maples will be in the best viewing period before and after the Qingming Festival holiday.

It is said that based on the scale of previous years, this year Wuzhou Garden has grafted 2000-3000 splendid maples. Nowadays, the maples are in bright red, brightening the spring a lot. The maples can change many colors in the four seasons of a year. They turn bright red from March to April, bright rose from May to June, and pink from July to August. After the National Day, the leaves turn bright red again, and then slowly fall down. In the upcoming Qingming Festival, the leaves of splendid maples will be more prosperous, and their color will change from bright red to rose, which is more suitable for visiting and taking pictures. In addition to splendid maples, the newly introduced 1000 “golden thread maples” in Wuzhou Garden are also stunning. The “golden thread maples” have seven-lobed leaves, just like golden thread. These days, the leaves are tender yellow, particularly dazzling under the sun. Seen from a high point, the maple leaves are colorful, and the places where the wind passes are ups and downs, like ripples in the red river, attracting many citizens to stop and take photos.
