CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- "Yellow long skirt, fluffy hair!" Yes, it is the national second-level protected wild animal yellow-throated marten. Recently, Chongqing Yintiaoling National Nature Reserve released three clear videos of yellow-throated marten.

From the published video, three martens were captured in two videos, while two were captured in the other. Their heads are relatively thin, their bodies are yellow, their ears are short and round, their bodies are slender, and their tails are long.

According to the staff of Yintiaoling National Nature Reserve, yellow-throated martens are small in size, but they are vigilant and agile. They can integrate groups of up to a dozen and round up prey like wolves. Tufted deer and macaque may become their meals.

It is reported that Yintiaoling National Nature Reserve is located in Wuxi, Chongqing. The yellow-throated marten is regarded as an indicator species of the forest ecological environment. The appearance of the yellow-throated martens showed that the area’s fauna is extremely rich. In the image taken this time, the yellow-throated martens have strong bodies and agile postures, which fully shows that they have sufficient food, the ecological system are well protected, and the biodiversity is relatively rich in this area.
