Exhibition on the theme of “Searching for Memories of Party History” held at Southwest University

“Searching for the Memories of Party History, Continuing the Spirit of Revolution - An Exhibition of 100 Paintings by Teachers and Students in Honor of the Centenary of the Party” held at Southwest University Museum

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- In preparation for the centenary of The Communist Party of China, “An Exhibition of 100 Paintings by Teachers and Students in Honor of the Centenary of the Party” is being held at Southwest University Museum up to April 4.

It’s learned that the exhibition is based on the theme of the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the main line of revolutionary spirit. The team of Chen Hang and Liu Zengxian from the School of Fine Arts, mainly teachers and students, searched for revolutionary marks, carried out artistic creation, and “painted the history of the Party” with one hundred art works, aiming to present a vivid education lesson on the history of the Party for all students and teachers.

The author of the Exhibition, Professor Chen Hang, was the Dean of the School of Fine Arts of Southwest University and has led students to Red Tourism attractions to sketch on site many times, using his brush to dig into revolutionary history. Professor Liu Zengxian is a retired teacher from the School of Fine Arts of Southwest University. In recent years, he has led his team to retrace the Long March, visiting the remains of important Party meetings and battle sites, recreating historical memories and promoting the revolutionary spirit through artistic techniques.
