CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the Award Ceremony of 2020 China’s Influential Cities of Nighttime Economy and the Launching Ceremony of the Action of 2021 China’s Influential Cities of Nighttime Economy were held in Chengdu. Chongqing once again topped the list of “China’s Top 10 Most Influential Cities of Nighttime Economy”, according to the Report on China’s Influential Cities of Nighttime Economy (2020) (hereinafter referred to as the Report) released by L.W Institute of Xinhua News Agency and Tencent.

Chongqing remains the most influential city from four aspects

The target cities have been evaluated and analyzed from four aspects of night economy communication, innovation, industrial scale and business circle flow in the Report, and Chongqing ranked at the forefront in the first-tier cities in terms of the above four aspects.

Among the four aspects, night economy communication is mainly evaluated by the target cities’ transmission index in institutional media and social media; night economy innovation is mainly evaluated by the innovation of the target cities in policy, business form and mode; industrial scale is mainly evaluated by combining seven major business forms of night shopping, night food, accommodation, tour, entertainment, reading and health, and comprehensively comparing the number of business entities, employees and output value of the target cities in the above-mentioned business forms; and business circle flow is mainly evaluated by the number of consumers in the business circle of the target cities in a certain period of time.

Based on the above indicators, ten cities including Chongqing, Chengdu, Changsha, Qingdao, Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Wuhan were rated as China’s Top Ten Most Influential Cities of Nighttime Economy in 2020.
