The largest Fan Deng Books unveiled in Chongqing

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Fan Deng Books, a new member of book markets in Chongqing, was unveiled at Guanyinqiao LongFor Luoyi Shopping Mall on the 26th World Reading Day. Covering a floor area of 2,000 square meters, it is the largest branch in China, and the first domestic bookstore of version 5.0. Citizens can read book, attend a lecture, appreciate flowers, plants and aquarium, and experience the different bookstore.

What is version 5.0? Liu Xiaodong, Co-founder of the bookstore introduced that the bookstore, built on the basis of new retail bookstore of version 4.0, provided new experience and social access, realized online and offline integration with cultural innovation and natural landscape.

In the bookstore, the aquariums displayed are very eye-catching, with many tropical fishes in; and many landscape including flowers and plants here and there add green scenery to the bookstore.

Liu Xiaodong introduced that different from other bookstores, the bookstore integrates four themed elements and new retails. For instance, there are beautiful and ecological flowers, plants and aquariums in the bookstore; and with “Fan Deng Reading” APP as driving force, the bookstore provides guidance experience on excellent books from different topics, promoting “nationwide reading”.

Social space is a characteristic of the bookstore. Liu Xiaodong said: “We will hold culture themed experience, and provide offline themed exchange and interest training. Moreover, we will provide access to community public benefit, party building and employment training, creating a public beneficial experience platform.”

Why the bookstore is based in Chongqing? Liu Xiaodong said that there is profound humanistic connotation and Bayu culture. At present, there are about 800,000 members of Fan Deng in Chongqing, ranking top in China; and the bookstore will provide offline exchange and cultural activity site for members, promoting the development of cultural and social circle.

It is worth mentioning that Chongqing Library awarded license to the bookstore on that day, and placed about 2,500 books for free for citizens.

Next, the bookstore plans to attract one million persons to read, and hold 300 themed online and offline activities; cooperate with 100 enterprises and public institutions to hold experience activities and trainings, with 30 communities to promote “reading”, public welfare programs and others.
