Compared to other cultural stations on the line, this one has a freshly colored mural that draws you in from a distance. The reporter saw that this mural, with the theme of “Ordinary People”, is 15 meters long, although there is only one mural. It contains both old and modern Chongqing. On one side of the mural, in antique yellow, are snippets of old Chongqing life such as street pedicurists, pedicabs and trams; on the other side, in bright colors, are tourists taking pictures under Jiefangbei and citizens taking their morning walk. The entire mural uses a simple cartoon portrait to contrast the changing lives of Chongqing people. It is a good place to find the old Chongqing.

A strong vintage literary style

Once you get off the train, you can see this feature wall encompassing various landmarks of old Chongqing on the South Square platform of Chongqing North Railway Station.
