CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The reporter of Chongqing Daily learned from Chongqing Urban Administration Bureau that Dianjiang County and Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County of Chongqing Municipality were rated as national garden counties by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Linshi Town, Damu Township, and Wulingshan Township of Fuling District, Heishan Town of Wansheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Zhongshan Town of Jiangjin District were rated as national garden towns by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. The awarding ceremony was held at Chongqing Urban Administration Bureau.

There are certain thresholds for the establishment of national garden county and national garden counties, and it is necessary to recheck whether the follow-up management meets the standards after the establishment is successful. For example, according to the national standard of garden county, the green coverage rate in the built-up area shall not be less than 38%, and the per capita park green area shall not be less than 9 square meters.
