CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On May 5, the Qijiangbei interconnection construction project was under construction to seize the construction period. At present, 70% of the total construction volume has been completed and is expected to be opened to traffic by the end of June.

It is learned that the Qijiangbei interconnection construction project, a key municipal construction project, is an expressway linking Group Gongtong, Zhaojiaping in Wenlong Sub-district and Xinsheng Sub-district of Qijiang and Chongqing-Guizhou Expressway, and is also the main road for the expansion of Qijiang’s urban space to the north. The completion of the Project will effectively relieve the traffic pressure in the urban area of Qijiang, open up the traffic bottleneck for the development of the urban area to the north, and help the construction of regional urbanization and economic and social development.
