3D stereoscopic painting attracts many citizens to take a look

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- In Chongqing, when it comes to graffiti walls, the first thing that comes to mind is the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. In fact, Chongqing has a lot of newly emerging graffiti street. Recently, the graffiti on Nanping pedestrian street goes viral among the WeChat moments. Its 3D effects look awesome and has received many positive reviews.

So, what exactly does this graffiti street have to offer?

Recently, Chongqing Evening News reporter took CRT Line 3 to visit Nanping.

The reporter found that, from Line 3 Nanping Station, you only need to walk about 600 meters to see this graffiti street in Nanping City Square. Although it was a bit hot at noon under the scorching sun, people still come here to take pictures. Adults were “clicking” the shutter to take pictures, children were simply rolling on the ground, and some of them didn’t even want to leave and found themselves a seat under the shade of the trees next to the graffiti.

“This street is so beautiful, there are pandas, ladybugs, monkeys, butterflies and other animals, standing inside as if breaking into a primitive forest,” citizen Li Nan told reporters. Another citizen, Chen Tao, who came here for check-in, described it as looking like the real thing: “I went to several graffiti spots in the main urban area of Chongqing, and the graffiti here on Nanping Pedestrian Street was the most surprising: the whole painting was in naked-eye 3D, and there was a rainbow and flowing water, it looked really beautiful.”

Naked-eye 3D painting originated from the West. It is a form of visual art creation. The reporter noticed that the naked-eye 3D painting in Nanping pedestrian street is based on the theme of ecology and nature, the sky, cliffs, waterfalls, forests, animals and other elements are hand-painted on the ground, using the visual difference between the two eyes and optical refraction, so that when people watch it produces a three-dimensional effect.

At this time, some children came to the giant 3D painting, they were attracted by the rope bridge in it, one by one jumped up above, as if they were actually there.

In fact, this artwork is not ordinary. The reporter learned that this project was painted by the professional painters, and it is made by the professional wall painting company for the construction. It is learned that the painting is done with special stone as the base, using special acrylic paint for painting, acrylic outdoor waterproof paint, outdoor color paste, polyurethane top coat and other materials, through 5 steps of primer, conformation, outlining, coloring and polyurethane covering, with the whole process taking about 20 days.

If you want to take pictures there, you can choose the “cliff” and “waterfall” for your background, which will highlight the 3D effects. In addition, you can wear light-colored or red clothes, making your photos contrast with the green color in the whole painting.

Near the Yanggongqiao Interchange, there is a place called Mafangwan, just like a fairy tale world with cute pet graffiti, which uses bright and vibrant colors to make the lane that once looked particularly old immediately shining and lovely.

More than 300 meters from the Jinyu station, there is a roadside wall nearly 100 meters long, covered with colorful graffiti, steel pipes, white clouds, mushrooms, Super Mario, etc. that evoke many childhood memories.

Colorful Houses in Shijingpo

The colorful houses in Shijingpo, Shapingba District, are a bit older than the graffiti in Mafangwan, and what impressed me most was the goose-yellow building that became a popular spot for many youngsters.
