CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The new trend of environmental sports is prevalent nowadays, making the body comfortable, making the environment beautiful and giving the city a new look... Early in the morning of May 23, the “True Colors Clean Run” public benefit activity organized by Kaicheng Sports kicked off with 100 Chongqing runners taking part in the event and acting as “clean runners”.

It is learned that runners started from Landmark Riverside on Nanbin Road for a 10km run and picked up litter along the road, “purifying” the Mountain City and guarding the Mother River in the form of running + environmental protection + public benefit. In addition, Kaicheng Sports will continue to take long-term care of the environment, encouraging people to clean up and reduce emissions, to enjoy a life free of single-use plastic, to minimize the use of disposable cutlery, cups and straws, and to support the city’s clean-up together.

It is worth mentioning that the public can bring their old running shoes and clothes (of any brand) to Chongqing Landmark Riverside for donation from now on to June 5 in order to promote an active and environmentally friendly lifestyle and encourage people to pay attention to the smallest things in life. To continue the service cycle of the old items, the event organizer will also commission Feimayi Environmental Platform to use these old running shoes for the production of environmentally friendly recycled products and third-site donations.
