BEIJING, May 27 (Xinhua) -- "F9: The Fast Saga" stayed on top of China's box office chart Wednesday, data from China Movie Data Information Network showed.

The latest installment to the "Fast and Furious" movie series finished the day with 35.53 million yuan (about 5.55 million U.S. dollars), amounting its total box office to about 1.03 billion yuan.

Domestic romantic drama "Love Will Tear Us Apart" came in second with a daily earning of 9.39 million yuan.

Spy thriller "Cliff Walkers" took the third place on the daily box office chart, generating a revenue of 7.17 million yuan. Enditem
