The first phase of Chongqing Shibati Traditional Scenic Area is expected to open
CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- For this year’s National Day holiday, the citizens may have chance to visit the Shibati Traditional Scenic Area. The reporter learned that the first phase of the Shibati Traditional Scenic Area (A, B, C) has been basically completed, and is expected to open at the end of September this year.
It is learned that the Shibati Traditional Scenic Area has A, B, C, D, E a total of five functional blocks, of which A, B, C is the core area. The exterior construction has been completed with businesses moving in for decoration. The exterior construction of D area has been completed by 70%, and E area is also speeding up the construction.
Looking down from the City Balcony, houses of green bricks and black tiles are neatly arranged. Walking into the core area of the Shibati Traditional Scenic Area, the stilted buildings, green tiles, red bricks and bamboo woven walls …evoke memories of the old Shibati all at once.
Deputy General Manager for Business of Hangzhou Suntiandy Group Chongqing Shibati Traditional Scenic Area Company Wang Rui introduced, Shibati Traditional Scenic Area A, B, C area is expected to open at the end of September this year, D area will be opened at the end of this year, E area will be opened next year.
For the first opened A, B, C area, what experience will be brought to visitors? Wang Rui introduces, Shibati A and B as traditional cultural experience area, will create a collection of cultural entertainment, humanistic sightseeing, dining and accommodation as an integrated open cultural experience neighborhood. Area C is orientated as the National Style Cultural and Creative Experience Zone, where there is a travel library, a high-end boutique accommodation with a National Style theme, a cultural and creative handicraft bazaar and a popular online snack bazaar.
“We also take the seven streets and six lanes of the Shibati as the basis to create eighteen attractions for tourists to visit.” Wang Rui said that the “Shibati Scenic Area” are divided into four sections: natural scenery, artistic landscape, historical exhibits and urban scenery, including the Tianfeng Musical Instrument Club, Huangge Guayue, and the Mountain City Memory Museum.
It is worth mentioning that, as part of the historical exhibition, the Chongqing Bombing Site of the Shibati Tunnel Memorial Hall will be designed through thematic scenes and situations, as well as multimedia projection video, sound and light interactive interpretation, etc., to show the tough years of “running with the alarm” during the war, present the production and life scenes of the “air-raid shelter”, and allow the audience to feel the spirit of the “getting stronger in the bombing”.
At present, the Memorial Hall is under construction and is expected to be opened with the opening of the first phase of the Shibati Scenic Area.
