A hidden “grassland” by the Yangtze River
CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, a “Grassland” in the Fuling Wine Town section of the Yangtze River has gone viral as it is a good place to take photos. The riparian zone is covered with green grass. The cows are leisurely eating the grass, and there are boats passing by every now and then, making it a beautiful riverside scene.
It is learned that here due to the periodic rise and fall of the water level, making the river section near the riverside land inundated during the water storage period, drainage period to expose the water surface, and forming a section of riparian zone in a long run. Previously, the water level dropped, revealing a large area of the riparian zone, with weeds and other vegetation slowly growing. Together with the specific terrain, it formed a distinctive wetland scenery of the riparian zone, becoming a unique and beautiful natural landscape.
