CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- As summer begins, the temperature gradually rises. Ripe fragrant peaches have been hanging on the branches of Huaguoshan in Xipeng, Jiulongpo, with a light scent of fruit in the air. Recently, fragrant peaches are now ready to pick at Huaguoshan, and the picking period lasts until the end of the month.

Chang’an fragrant peaches are one of the four major agricultural products of Xipeng and a calling card of Huaguoshan. As in previous years, this year’s peaches were ordered in advance two months before, and some people drove directly to the orchard to pick them. Under the peach trees, tourists are carrying bamboo baskets to shuttle between the peach groves.

It is learned that the price of Chang’an peach in Huaguoshan ranges from 15 yuan, 25 yuan to 30 yuan per jin (500g). In order to make visitors better experience the fun of rural tourism and picking, 20 new parking spaces have been added at the foot of Huaguoshan, and leisure seats have also been added at the top of the mountain. Visitors can also enjoy the scenery of Huaguoshan as well as the scenery of lakes and mountains while experiencing the fun of picking.
