Destroyer No.166 lit up for CPC centenary

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On June 26, 2021, as China’s self-developed Type 051 second-generation missile destroyer, Destroyer No.166, after restoration and refitting, sailed into the warm home of Chongqing Museum of Jianchuan with a lifetime of glory and docked at the Jianshe Pier on the Yangtze River. Destroyer No.166 was officially lit up from June 30 to July 4 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.
At 8:00 p.m., the lights went on at the Jianshe Pier in Jiulongpo District, Chongqing, and the Destroyer No.166 theme lights were lit up, and for a moment, the whole ship turned red.
“Sing a mountain song to the CPC, I compare the Party to my mother …” Songs such as “Sing a Mountain Song to the CPC”, “Me and My Motherland” and “Night at the Military Port” were constantly played on the Pier, and the lights of the Destroyer No.166 kept changing with the rhythm of music, which presented such a beautiful view.
The Destroyer No.166 showed a vigorous and heroic appearance when they are lit up, blending perfectly with the beautiful night scenery on both sides of the river.
Under the colorful lights, the public in Chongqing can also enjoy the unique charm of the “Night at the Military Port”.
A laser light was set on the top of the Destroyer No.166, with one beam projected on the Jianshe Pier naked eye 3D painting, and one beam to the sky, where citizens took out their cell phones to record the Destroyer No.166 at night.
As the night was getting late, the Destroyer No.166 docked at the Jianshe Pier were illuminated by various colors of lights. Against the backdrop of the Egongyan Bridge and the night view, the reflection on the river surface added a bit of haze and mystery to the Destroyer No.166.
