Recently, the Foreign Cooperation and Ecological Industry Development Department of Chongqing Forestry Bureau recommended some cool forest healthcare bases to citizens, including Shizhu National Forest Healthcare Base, Fairy Mountain National Forest Healthcare Base, Tea Forest Bamboo Sea Healthcare Base, Colorful Forest National Healthcare Base, and Jiangjin Simian Mountain Forest Healthcare Base.

It is reported that the forest area in Chongqing has reached 64.94 million mu. Relying on these ecological resources, the construction of forest parks and forest healthcare bases is being accelerated.

At present, Chongqing has built 85 municipal-level forest parks (ecological parks), 21 nature reserves, 26 wetland parks, and more than 3,750 forest homes. Among them, “Dabashan Forest Family”, “Huangshui Forest Family”, “Taoyuan Family” and other brands have leading power.

Chongqing has established 31 forest healthcare experience bases, among which 4 are named by national ministries and commissions. In 2020, the number of ecotourism and healthcare in Chongqing exceeded 120 million, and the comprehensive income from ecotourism and forest healthcare exceeded 35 billion yuan.

Next, Chongqing will continue promoting the establishment of a number of forest healthcare bases, and guiding the relevant districts and counties to rely on the forest, wetland, grassland ecosystem and their natural ecological villages, ancient and famous trees, characteristic industrial bases and other resources to deeply explore the local ecological culture and historical cultural resources.

Chongqing will also take the opportunity of the establishment of forest healthcare bases, green demonstration villages and forest homes to continuously strengthen the construction of forest healthcare industry carriers, establish forest healthcare products system of rich types such as forest healthcare, forest pension and natural education, and guide the high-quality development of forest healthcare industry.
