On July 21, 68 radial steel trusses of Longxing Football Field were hoisted, and the main steel structure was closed successfully.  

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On July 21, with the startup of the 350t crawler crane, the last truss of the canopy was slowly lifted and accurately placed, marking the smooth closure of the main steel structure of Chongqing Longxing Football Field.

As one of the venues for the Asian Cup in 2023, located at the intersection of Liangjiang Avenue and Yiyuan Road, Longxing Town, Liangjiang New Area, with a construction area of 166,900 square meters, Chongqing Longxing Football Field is the first professional football field built in Chongqing and can accommodate about 60,000 audiences.

The reporter saw on site that 68 trusses had been installed around the Field and connected to steel columns, outlining Chongqing Longxing Football Field.

After 86 days of intense construction, 68 radial steel trusses with a total weight of about 140 tons were hoisted at Longxing Football Field. There were three times of hoisting, including inclined steel column, balance truss and canopy truss. On average, it took less than one and a half days for each truss to enter the Field, assemble, lift and weld.

Guo Fei, on-site representative of Longxing Football Field Project, said that with the closing of the main steel structure, next the roof and curtain wall construction would be interwoven, nearly 1,000 workers were speeding up the construction, and it was expected that Longxing Football Field would be fully completed in the next year.
