CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On July 31, “lane bus” No. 3101 was passing between the residential districts and rail stations along the route in Chayuan, Nan’an District. Since the line was opened last month, each bus has carried about 600 passengers a day. With the increase of passengers, two additional buses have been added to increase the capacity.

In order to solve the problem of the “last mile” of mass travel, Chongqing City Transportation Development Investment Group will launch 10 lane buses in main urban districts this year, focusing on covering the back streets and lanes of Yubei, Shapingba, Nan’an, Beibei, Jiangbei and other districts to open the bus microcirculation, and further improve the satisfaction of public travel.
