CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- “When I saw the news of the opening of the Kiwi Base from my WeChat Moments, I brought my family here.” Recently, the writer visited the Kiwi Base in Yunzhuanshan Village, Yudong Sub-district, and saw visitors picking actinidia chinensis. Ms. Li, a visitor, told the writer that she brought her kid along to experience the fun of picking while school was not in session.

As you enter the Kiwi Base, the early autumn breeze lifts the green and yellow kiwifruit beneath the leaves and makes you salivate. At the Base, visitors moved between the sparsely packed shelves, enjoying the beauty of the green hills, picking high-quality organic kiwifruit and feeling the joy of the harvest.

Many visitors picked kiwis while taking photos of the beautiful scenery and the attractive fruit. Qin Yu, a resident from Jiangbei District, is a big “fan” of the actinidia chinensis and drove over an hour to come here just to satisfy his craving when he heard that the local kiwifruit was ripe. “The kiwifruit here was grown in the wonderful mountains and waters of the Yunzhuan Mountain and I want to pick more to take home to my family,” Qin Yu said with delight.
