A sweet smell of rice greets you when you walk into the rice planting base in Baoluan Town, Fengdu County. As far as you can see, the terraced fields that stretch like ribbons are colored in golden hues, as bright as a carpet of gold. The heavy ears of rice bend the stalks and the breeze makes the ears of rice dance in the wind, stirring up waves of golden rice. Nearby, rice farmers are busy harvesting rice, cutting it and separating the husks, enjoying the joy of the harvest while working hard.
