CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Here come the first batch of additional flights of Sichuan Airlines (Chongqing) in autumn! From now on, the new Chongqing=Xichang route will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with flight number of 3U8081/2 and one-way fares ranging from 450 yuan.

It is introduced that from September 16 onwards, a new stopover route of Kunming=Qianjing=Rizhao will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with flight number of 3U8159/60 and one-way fares ranging from 249 yuan.

The actual flight date and price are subject to system. Those interested can visit the Sichuan Airlines App or call 95378 to purchase tickets.

It is worth mentioning that from September 1, the cut-off time for check-in and baggage check-in at T2 Terminal of Chongqing Jiangbei Airport for Chongqing-Beijing Route operated by Sichuan Airlines has been changed from 45 minutes to 30 minutes before flight departure (Note: flight departure time is the time shown when purchasing the ticket). The compressed cut-off time reduces waiting time for passengers.

It is learned that as a pilot route to improve efficiency at Chongqing Jiangbei Airport, Chongqing-Beijing Route operated by Sichuan Airlines has opened dedicated a check-in counter, a convenient security check passage and an optimized aircraft parking location (gates closer to security check passage) in T2 to minimize walking distances and boarding times for passengers. This route runs around 4 times a day and takes around 2.5 hours in the air.
