During the upcoming National Day holiday, a Chinese culture and tourism festival will kick off in Bishan District, while the 13th West China Animation and Culture Festival (hereinafter referred to as “the Festival”) which is a favorite of animation fans will also be held simultaneously in Bishan District.

It is understood that the Festival will be held during the period from September 30 to October 4 in Bishan Dongyue Square, and it will let the audiences to enjoy the wonderful “quadratic element” in a wider and more diverse space.

According to Ao Bin, the Festival will allow audiences to enjoy the “quadratic element” in a wider and more diverse space, and also appreciate the unique charm of “Science, Technology and Innovation in Bishan”. The Festival will focus on industrial exchange, project cooperation, creative competition and interactive experience, and hold 15 activities in four categories. The first category is conference and forum. The Second Western Digital Economy Industry Summit will be held at Bishan Culture and Art Center from 10:00 to 12:00 on September 30. 

The second category is creative competition, which will be held at Dongyue Square in Bishan District from October 1 to October 3, including 2021 National Quadratic Element Competition Final, 2021 Third National Dubbing Competition and the Best Voice Actor Challenge, and the 12th Chinese Children's Dubbing Competition.  

Third category is a creative exhibition, which will be held from September 30 - October 4 in Bishan Dongyue Square, and People’s Square, including domestic and international famous cartoon brand game exhibition, science and technology interactive entertainment experience exhibition, JK, Han Chinese clothing, Lolita exhibit, HEC model and quadratic element side-line products exhibition, Chengdu-Chongqing cultural and tourism exhibition and other activities. 

The fourth category is interactive experience, which will be held from September 30 to October 4 in Bishan Dongyue Square, including animation guest works signing, western animation party, quadratic element immersive interactive experience, animation food street and other activities. 

In addition, the Festival will link with Bishan’s cultural tourism and consumption activities, form a tourism dynamic route and consumption closed loop, promote the deep integration of animation culture with commerce, tourism and digital economy, and build a digital entertainment industry base.  

The first Chinese Fashion Culture Tourism Festival opened

For the National Day, Bishan has also planned a series of activities to accompany citizens to celebrate the occasion. 

The first activity to open the curtain is the Unveiling of the 4A Scenic Spot in Xiuhu and the First Chinese Fashion Culture Tourism Festival, which will be held from September 28 to October 7 in Bishan Xiuhu Scenic Area. 

Subsequently, the Third Chongqing International Recreational Vehicle Camping Exhibition will be held from September 30 to October 2 in Bishan Xiuhu Car Camping Park. Meanwhile, the first Sichuan-Chongqing Food Culture Event and Parent-child Life Festival will be held from September 30 to October 7 at “Bishan Cold Wine”. 

Moreover, 2021 Lotus Hole · Chongqing Rural Art Market will also be held from September 29 to December 30 at Lotus Hole Art Museum, Qitang Town, Bishan District.
