CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- When it comes to autumn, the first thing that comes to our minds must be the red maple leaves. Let’s imagine: the warm sunlight cast down in the gaps of the maple leaves, the whole mountain forest is dyed gold by the red leaves, which can be described as “layers of forest in colorful dyes”, and it is really fascinating. Now, let’s explore the excellent maple viewing place in Banan, located in Nanpeng Sub-district’s South Lake (Nanhu) Colorful Botanical Garden to enjoy the maples in red.

On September 19th, the South Lake (Nanhu) Colorful Botanical Garden officially opened to the public, with more than 1800 mu of red maple trees, adding another beautiful scenic area to the banks of South Lake. Most of the red maple varieties in the park are Japanese red maple, and now some of the maple leaves have turned red, and all of them will be red in October, and the scenery of red maple all over the mountains will last until November.

It is worth mentioning that the garden also has a rich variety of flowering plants, forming a colorful “flower island”, and the hiking trails and park loops built in the garden are suitable for the whole family to relax and enjoy the green scenery, and there is a large area of grass for visitors to camp.
