BEIJING, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- Patriotic anthology "My Country, My Parents" topped the Chinese mainland box office Wednesday, data from the China Movie Data Information Network showed Thursday.

The film, paying homage to past generations who have contributed to China's revolution and development, Wednesday pocketed 15.54 million yuan (about 2.4 million U.S. dollars) in preview. It is scheduled to hit theaters Thursday.

Domestic disaster movie "Cloudy Mountain" came in second with a daily box office of 9.69 million yuan.

Another domestic drama "All About My Mother" ranked third, generating 3.88 million yuan on Wednesday. Enditem
