CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The community that carries the city's memory also carries people's nostalgia… Recently, the Communist Youth League of the Yuzhong District Party Committee, together with the Yuzhong Old Street Public Welfare and the Chongqing Cultural Relics Protection Volunteer Service Team, launched a theme activity of “Drawing Community Treasure Hunt Map Together” at the Mini Children’s Palace in Renhe Street Community and Jiaxi Village Community.

During the activity, more than 50 teenagers, led by young volunteers, received community exploration task cards to explore the historical and cultural relics and community characteristics of the Jiaxi Village Community, Renhe Street Community. Through on-the-spot visits and exchanges with community residents, teenagers use their sharp eyes to explore and discover the “treasure spots” in the community. Such as cultural relics and monuments in the community, kudzu trees, pavilions, shoe repair shops, old houses, food shops, and so on, all of which have become important elements of their “community treasure hunt map.”

The relevant person in charge of the Communist Youth League of the Yuzhong District Party Committee said that with the deepening of the activities, teenagers have a better understanding of the history and culture of the community. At the same time, they also have a strong interest in the stories behind cultural relics such as Sino-French School, Red Army Building, Yiyuan Garden, Xianying Former Residence and other cultural relics, which deepens their understanding of the history and culture of Chongqing.
