CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the launching ceremony of Fuling Wankai special train on land-sea new channel was held at Fuling west station, Fuling District, Chongqing. With a crisp and long steam whistle, the Fuling Wankai special train on land-sea new channel loaded with polyester materials started off slowly. The train will, in about 10 days, directly arrive at Surabaya port in Indonesia through rail-sea intermodal transport from Fuling West Station, which will greatly make up for the short board of long transportation period and lack of competitiveness of hinterland export.

The goods carried by the special train are consigned by Chongqing Wankai New Material Technology Co., Ltd. affiliated to Zhejiang Zhengkai group, which has reached an official strategic cooperation agreement with Chongqing land-sea new channel operation Co., Ltd., and the two parties will carry out an in-depth cooperation featuring the western land-sea new channel, a national strategic channel. Later, the two parties will closely cooperate in terms of channel logistics, supply chain finance, industrial chain business and investment introduction and other projects.

At present, the new land-sea channel has reached 311 ports in 108 countries (regions). From January to October this year, Chongqing has launched 1710 rail sea inter-modal trains on the new land-sea channel, and sent out about 93000 TEUs of containers, with transportation value of goods reaching 14.72 billion yuan. The new land-sea channel has become a stable trade channel to promote the resumption of work and production and facilitate the domestic and international two-way circulation.
