CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The smart city construction in Chongqing has added another important achievement. The first L4-level robobus demonstration operation project in China began charging in Yongchuan District, Chongqing on November 28th. The citizens can experience the automatic driving bus trip by paying the bus card, scanning the Alipay code or having face recognition. The cost will be charged according to the current bus charging system in Yongchuan.

It is understood that as for the first batch of robobus, there are 3 robobuses that began charging in total, with a cruising speed of nearly 40 kilometers per hour and a two-way mileage of nearly 10 kilometers.
