CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- As the opening trial operation of Phase I of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 9 is around the corner, stations are ready to welcome their passengers. Many stations are in the neighborhood where residents live, so it’s convenient for citizens to take Line 9.

Phase I of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 9 starts from Xinqiao Station and ends at Xingkedadao Station, covering a total length of 33km and 26 stations. This project plans to open 23 stations: Gaotanyan Station, Tianlilu Station, Shapingba Station, Xiaolongkan Station, Tuwan Station, Hongyancun Station, Fuhualu Station, Hualingqiao Station, Lijiaping Station, Mahuangliang Station, Guanyinqiao Station, Liyuchi Station, Liujiatai Station, Jiangbeicheng Station, Wulidian Station, Gailanxi Station, Toutang Station, Baoshuigang Station, Hejialiang Station, Shipanhe Station, Shangwanlu Station, Qinggangping Station and Xingkedadao Station; Youlunmugang Station, Baoshenghu Station and Xinqiao Station will not be opened soon.

Recently, CRT Line 9 ushered in the first passengers. More than 10 citizens gathered an “exploration camp” and started exploration of the stations of Line 9. They experienced the train, and explored the characteristic Liyuchi Station. “The opening of this station has brought us great convenience!” Early in the morning, many residents with smiles on their faces gathered around the entrance of Line 9 Phase I near Liyuchi Station.

Liyuchi Station is located in the southeast of the intersection of Jianxin East Road, Jiangbei District and Changxin Road, near Chang’an Auto Co., Ltd. The station is an underground excavation station with a single arch double layer structure, and the station body is laid in an east-west direction. There are two transfer channels in the station, which can transfer from platform to platform and from hall to hall with Liyuchi Station of Line 10 respectively.

After the trial operation, passengers can enter the station of Line 9 through two entrances 4A and 5A, and two barrier-free elevators No. 1 and No. 2. — Entrance 4A is located in Beicheng 3rd Road, with a community named Rongjingcheng Xinyuan around. Entrance 5A is located in the Changxin Road, with a community named Longfor Chunsenbi’an Phase 5. People living nearby can go downstairs and take rail transit.

There are many other stations close to residential areas. For example, Wulidian Station of Line 9 is located on the north side of Wuhong Road, Jiangbei District, near Xingyao Tiandi Community. The nearest exit and the gate of the community are only 10m away. There are three entrances opened at Fuhualu Station, so that residents living around Chongqing Tiandi can easily get into the station. After the opening of Tianlilu Station, it is only a few hundred meters away from the nearby Lanxigudi Community...

According to Chongqing Transportation Development and Investment Group Line 9 Construction and Operation Co., Ltd., as a rail transit artery, Line 9 passes through Shapingba District, Yuzhong District, Jiangbei District, Liangjiang New Area, Yubei District, will be a popular line. Among them, at Shapingba Station and Guanyinqiao Station, you can go to two major business circles; Tuwan Station is the only surface station of Line 9; Hualongqiao Station is located in the top floor of the commercial building, so you can experience the characteristic scenery of track crossing the building. Liujiatai Station and Qinggangping Station are two characteristic station with interior decorations.
