CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The reporter learned from Chongqing Branch of Southwest Company of China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd. that Daitianwan Stadium Conservation and Utilization Work EPC Project is being accelerated, with heritage repairs being carried out in an orderly manner and the underground car park entering the decoration stage, so that the overall project is expected to be fully completed before the National Day.
Daitianwan Stadium Conservation and Utilization Work EPC Project mainly covers heritage conservation and repair, new underground car park, new supporting houses and environmental supporting works, with 41,000 square meters of new buildings, including 35,000 square meters of underground car park and 6,000 square meters of above-ground supporting houses.

The reporter saw on the site that workers were working in the center of the stadium on waterproofing and back fill, blue colored steel sheets were propped up above the surrounding stands, and the restoration of the stands was progressing in an orderly manner.
According to the introduction, the construction of the football stadium sports craft is expected to commence in the center of the stadium in May with the completion of the waterproofing and earth back fill of the stadium.

Below the center of the stadium, work is intensifying on a two-level underground car park. Workers were carrying out secondary structural and renovation work on the car park, which will provide 780 parking spaces for the public when completed.

There are also 10 pedestrian walkways in the car park connected to the stands. Once the public enters the car park, they can access the stands directly via the pedestrian walkways.
At present, nearly 70% of the overall project has been completed, and it is expected to be fully completed by the National Day this year.
