CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On May 5th, at Jiulongyuan Station, Science City, West (Chongqing), a rail transit train was running on the Jiangjin-Tiaodeng Line without passengers, preparing for the official "on-line".

The total length of CRT Jiangjin-Tiaodeng Line is about 28 kilometers, starting from Tiaodeng Station of Rail Transit Line 5 and ending at Shengquansi Station in Jiangjin District. Six new stations, including Shilinsi Station and Jiulongyuan Station, have been built. After the whole line is opened to traffic, it can run together with CRT Line 5, and will realize convenient transfer with CRT Line 7 (under planning), CRT Line 17 (under planning) and Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway (under construction). By then, it will take only 30 minutes from Jiangjin District to the central city of Chongqing, which will further facilitate the travel of residents along the line.
