24-hour nucleic acid sampling + testing service

At 10:00 o'clock on the evening of May 12, the nucleic acid testing site of Chongqing Municipal People's Hospital was brightly lit, and citizens were lining up for nucleic acid testing.

A young man went to the collection window and went back thoughtfully. The nurse smiled and said to him, "Don't be afraid, little brother, don't be nervous."

"I have rhinitis. Every time I finish my nose swab, I will feel pain and even bleed. I'm really afraid."

"It's okay, I'll do it lightly. Don't worry, come and look up and relax."

"I didn't feel pain this time, thank you. Today is Nurses' Day. I'll give you a heart gesture. Thanks for your hard work!"

The words made the nurse feel warm.

The nurse told the reporter that in order to meet the citizens' demand for nucleic acid testing, the nucleic acid testing site of the headquarters of the Municipal People's Hospital run for 24 hours, and the staff of the medical laboratory will be on duty 24 hours a day. On May 12, there were more than 5,500 person-times of nucleic acid tests in this hospital, more than three times as many as usual.

At the same time of increasing the sampling work table, the medical laboratory staff of the hospital is also working overtime to ensure that nucleic acid results are issued on time.

Minimize the queuing time of citizens

On the evening of May 12, outside the sampling point of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical College, citizens lined up to make nucleic acid.

The weather was muggy. Community nucleic acid sampling nurses wore airtight protective clothing and shuttled between multiple residential areas to provide door-to-door nucleic acid sampling services for the elderly and some special groups in the community.

"As a nurse, we can't stop protecting everyone's health for a moment." Chen Wanrou, a community sampling nurse, said with a smile.

On the evening of that day, the hospital also urgently deployed personnel to ensure the supply of electricity and materials at night. Single testing, mixed testing and multiple windows operated at the same time, trying to prolong the testing and sampling time and reduce the waiting time of citizens as much as possible.
