CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Over the recent rainy days, Shapingba City Management Bureau has finished arranging the flower boxes on Yangli Road, a major section of Shapingba District, along which there are dense residential communities and population. Thus, arranging flower boxes along the road and replacing traditional guard bars with flower boxes can make the street more eye-pleasing. In this way, every small yet pretty flower box arranged together has decorated the whole street where people can see blooming flowers as soon as they open their doors.

With the efforts of building the city ecologically, Shapingba District has become softer and milder. According to the official from Shapingba City Management Bureau, they chose the dark-brown double-deck flower boxes with high durability and made a two-tier and well-proportioned arrangement of them, with a total length of 300 meters. When it came to plant furnishing, they took the contrast and harmony of colors into consideration. Thus the plants they selected included age-old bushes, flamboyant perennial roots and seasonal flowers. In addition, they will change the plants in the boxes in line with different festivals. Nearly 7,000 plants and flower boxes are currently extending all over the street, outlining a colorful belt for Yangli Road. The small yet beautiful flower boxes on the Yangli Road not only are a surprise for the city, but also beautify the surrounding environment, bringing more serendipitous experiences for citizens.
