CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On June 21, the summer solstice, the outdoor temperature reached 35 ℃. At the construction site of the Guojiatuo Yangtze River Bridge, workers were doing works like welding the main bridge deck and installing anti-collision guardrails – all these jobs are expected to be finished at the end of this month. Built on that, the bridge will be open to traffic in October. After that, it will only take people 10 minutes to travel from Liangjiang New Area to Nan'an District, 30 minutes shorter than before, thus improving the connectivity of the central urban area.
